Winds of Change

Winds of Change is a 26:00 minute documentary that takes the listner on a road trip through two counties in Northern California to examine Wind Energy. The journey starts out in Butte County to learn about the new research being conducted to anaylze the wind and it ends in Shasta County where a new wind farm is being built. This story is a revision from the original that was produced for and broadcast on Northstate Public Radio in 2010. Original sound editing assistance provided by Lorraine Dechter.

You’ll meet a host of characters that includes community organizers, residents and elected officials. The story highlights their challenges and lessons learned along the way. . School Lunch: It’s Not Just Food

This is a story of how a local school district, out of concern for their students health, completely changed the way they served food.
